Over the last ten years Brad Little has played the role of ‘the Phantom’ in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary musical, The Phantom of the Opera over 2000 times in theaters across America, on Broadway, and throughout Asia.
As well as performing in The Phantom of the Opera, Brad has performing major roles in countless other productions throughout America and Europe including, ‘Captain De Castel Jaloux’ in Cyrano, the Musical, ‘Willy’ in I Married an Angel, ‘Jesus’ in Jesus Christ Superstar, ‘Tony’ in West Side Story, ‘Percy’ in The Scarlet Pimpernel, ‘the Beast’ in Beauty and the Beast, ‘Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde’ in Jekyll & Hyde, ‘Carl-Magnus’ in A Little Night Music, ‘Lieutenant Cable’ in South Pacific, ‘Allen’ in Babes in Toyland, ‘Saul’ in Rags, ‘Thomas Jefferson’ in 1776 and ‘Jamie Lockhart’ in The Robber Bridegroom. Other productions have included, Fiddler on the Roof, Anything Goes and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change!
Brad has also enjoyed performing in a number of solo concerts and also as a guest artist in a large variety of formats and styles. Highlights have included, Brad Little UnMasked with the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra, Bravo Broadway with the Orchestra Symphonic of Brazil, in Rio de Janeiro, the New Year’s Eve concert with the Des Moines Symphony Orchestra and concerts with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., Oregon Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Symphony Orchestra and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Another highlights was in May of 2005 when Brad sang in the “Night of 1000 Voices” concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Brad has also won a number of awards throughout his career including, the 2001 Barrymore award for Best Actor in a Musical, the Phidelphia Inquirer’s, Philly Award winner for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Che in Bristol Riverside Theatre’s production of Evita in Bristol, PA. and most recently the 2005 Magnolia Award from the Shanghai City Government for Best Male Actor in a musical for ‘the Phantom’ in The Phantom of the Opera.
On December 6 & 7 2006, Korean audiences were delighted with three concerts of by the star of the Asian Tour of The Phantom of the Opera, Mr. Brad Little.
The concerts, Brad Little - UnMasked, showcased a selection of Mr. Little's favourite Broadway songs. Mr. Little was joined on stage by Korean star and 2006 most popular musical actress Miss Kim Sohyun, Australia star of the World Tour of Cats Mr. Simon Pryce and as suprise guest Mr. Little's wife, Broadway performer, Ms. Barbara McCulloh. The performers were accompanied by a touring band of 10 under the Musical Direction of Mr. Peter Casey.
Brad Little - Unmasked was presented at the 1800 seat Opera Theatre at the Seongnam Performing Arts Centre and was presented by PK & Wise, A-Net Korea, Arts Asia Pacific and Angels Unlimited. The concerts were rehearsed and developed in the US and Australia by Arts Asia Pacific and Angels Unlimited.
Return concerts in Korea as well as an Asian Tour are now under development.
